Disruption for the team straight from the off when Tyreece Kennedy-Williams selected at left-back had to pull out of the game during the warm up with a rib injury and his place was taken by Leo Marshall.

The game got under way in very blustery conditions.


It was all Notts early on with Bucalossi, Cummings and Etete all going close to opening the scoring.


Scunthorpe surprisingly took the lead against the run of play from the penalty spot.


Notts unlucky to be trailing at half time after having the majority of the play in the first half but failed to make the most of their superior possession.


In the second have Notts had a number of chances to equalise and even take the lead but the chances once again weren’t taken.


Eventually the visitors doubled their lead, curling a brilliant effort in to the top right corner from about 20 yards out.


Despite playing well under difficult conditions, failure to take their chances meant the visitors go home with all three points.
