The Mag: Luton Town.

Our Season’s Review
As the season draws to a close and we put this Mag submission to bed, we are proud to look back at what the OSA committee has achieved over the season, and what a successful season it has been!
The season started with the OSA sponsoring Hydn Hollis. When he transferred to Forest Green Rovers in January, we were delighted to be able to switch our sponsorship across to Mike Edwards, who continues to be such a loyal servant to the Magpies. We had a brilliant fans’ evening with the Gaffer, Alan Smith, and Chris Foy, an ex-premier league referee, all answering questions. The proceeds from the evening were shared equally with the Notts County FC and the academy. And we were pleased to help the Football Club in their hour of need by purchasing a van for their academy to carry their kit in.
We then had a very busy winter collecting for the homeless, building on the partnership that we started last season with The Friary, following a request from our Club Chaplain, Rev(erend) Liam O’Boyle. Thanks to the generosity of Notts fans, a number of trips were made to the Friary depot to deliver much-needed warm clothing, blankets, toiletries and food supplies. Thanks to all of you who donated; your contributions were greatly appreciated.
A group of our committee members attended the Football Supporters Federation AGM, held at St, George’s Park in Burton before the start of the season, where we put motions to the meeting designed to benefit the game in general. In particular, we began our campaign to encourage the EFL to engage professional referees to officiate Leagues One and Two games – something which became increasingly desirable as the season progressed!
Members of the Association also attended EFL forums at Sheffield United and in Birmingham where we continued to put forward ideas and concerns about the game we all love.
Notts County FC Official Supporters’ Association AGM 2018
Our AGM has been set for June 15th 2018, meeting at 6.00 pm for a 6.15 pm start in the Sponsors’ Lounge, in the Derek Pavis Stand. Anyone wishing to stand for election to the committee can obtain a nomination form from the [email protected] and completed applications must be received 14 days before the AGM. Any fully paid-up member may stand for election to the committee providing that they have also been nominated by a fully paid-up member.
Members are also invited to submit questions or suggestions to the AGM by email to the secretary. These must be received at least 14 days in advance of the AGM and the member should be prepared to attend the meeting, to give any further clarification to their submission that might be necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY FULL MEMBERS WHO HAVE PAID A MEMBERSHIP FEE FOR THE 2017/18 SEASON MAY ATTEND THE AGM. Membership cards will be checked against the membership list before the meeting.
Membership Renewals
Membership for the 2018/19 season is due for renewal on 1st July 2018. New members and renewals can be accepted either on-line from 1 July, or by visiting the OSA office on home match-days when the new season starts in August. Which-ever way you choose, the NCFCOSA committee looks forward to welcoming and serving you again in the 2018/19 season.
And Finally….
Our thanks to the Magpies Media Team for all their help, especially Sam who keeps us on our toes by making sure that our copy for The Mag is submitted on time!
