The Mag: NCFCOSA Bulletin 16/08

Dare to discover

It seems like you have to wait for ages …. and then two come together.  No, not London buses, but league matches at Meadow Lane.  Just three days after our game against Stevenage, we face a tough test tonight against Plymouth Argyle, who only narrowly missed out on promotion last season.  At the end of this game, we should have a fair idea of what Notts have to do to go one better, and get promoted back into League One of the EFL.  Yes that’s what we are suppose to call the Football League now.  And I thought that re-branding only happened after cattle were rustled in Wild West movies!

A trip to the museum

The Official Supporters Association is pleased to invite you to come on our coach trip to the FA Football Museum in Manchester on Sunday, the 23rd of October.

Visitors will have three hours to browse around the museum and then, on the way back, we’ll be stopping off at the Knockerdown Inn near Carsington Water for a two-course meal, before returning to Meadow Lane. This whole day trip is just £30 for OSA members and non-members alike.  This covers the cost of museum entry, travel & the meal.

Places can be booked either by calling in on our Meadow Lane office on match-days or by contacting the OSA Chairman, John Terrington ([email protected]).

There’s £15 deposit (refundable until September 1st) and please book as early as possible: last year’s trip was a great success!

Christmas is just around the corner

Well maybe not quite but it isn’t too early to tell you about this year’s OSA Christmas prize draw, which is being run in aid of the NCFC football academy.
