The Mag: 14/10 – Calling all sponsors!

Melvyn Watson & Joshua Collishaw wrote this week’s The Mag entry for our new look media team.

Exciting times lay ahead for Notts County academy due to the efforts of the NCFCOSA committee, special thanks must go to our secretary and treasurer Pat and David Akers as well as our chairman John Terrington for their tireless work in fundraising. Today will be a special occasion for the committee and our academy; as our next donation, will be presented to the academy! Our fundraising is never ending, so here is the opportunity for you to help us achieve our future targets:

NCFCOSA are expanding their fundraising aims by inviting prospective sponsors to join them.

“We at the NCFCOSA are currently working hard to fundraise for the Notts County Football Club academy teams. We are totally independent from the Football Club, and all our Proceeds benefit the up and coming youngsters involved in the future of the academy and the club.

We are proud to have funded numerous projects so far, and our most recent purchase of a trauma kit, costing around £2000, was gratefully received by the academy. This is just one example of the type of equipment we raise the funds for and there are many more requirements needed for the academy to help them achieve their goal of bringing talented young individuals through the ranks and into the first team, there by securing the future of this great football club.

This is where you come in ……

The NCFCOSA are now hoping to attract sponsorship for the fundraising work we are carrying out and I am hoping that you may be willing to join us for the seasonal fee of £50.

In return for your sponsorship, you will receive the following benefits:

  • Your individual or business name to appear on the NCFCOSA official web site, and on our official notice board in the NCFCOSA shop on Meadow Lane.
  • Your individual or business name in the official Notts County match day programme (League games only)

If you require any further information or would like to register your interest in becoming a sponsor, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or on 07948611522

Yours Sincerely,

Melvyn Watson”
