Notts win for the first time since April

In what seemed like an eternity, the Magpie’s finally earned their first win in what seemed an eternity! Scorers MIlsom and Hewitt, both strikes placed away in the first & second half respectively lead to Notts moving out of the bottom two for the first time since the start of the season.

Notts dominated Crewe for the first twenty minutes of the game, with Milsom scoring an unmarked ball.

Crewe came back and punished County for poor defensive clearance from Turley, equalising – Jordan Bowery capitalising on a daft mistake. Alexandra then ensured of their presence by continuously going forwards and attacking the Magpie’s however the new backline of Notts kept the goals out.

Notts went close in the second half multiple times, after a great cross however, the Magpie’s were in front – thanks to Elliot Hewitt meeting the cross and heading into the top left of the net!

County were flying high – once again – with Notts moving on to six points; just ten off the playoffs.

On to Crawley Town next – what is in store for the Magpie’s?
