The supporters received the good news at the fan’s forum by our owners that the NCFCOSA and Lifeline are to buy two scoreboards. Once again the NCFCOSA and Lifeline are supporting the club in times of need. It was only in June that the OSA was supporting the staff with donations when they were not being paid.
All last season and to date the club have been without a scoreboard, the OSA committee decided it was time to act when they heard the new owners wanted to replace the broken scoreboard but had more pressing issues to deal with first, like building a strong team, so the OSA offered their help to Christoffer and Alexander who gratefully accepted. John Terrington and I arranged a meeting with Jason Turner to talk numbers, we knew they were costly to purchase but we all felt it was a must do fundraiser. Our committee were in favour of this project 100% and were only too pleased to support our owners . The cost of the scoreboard is £20.000 the deposit is paid and we are good to go when the club are ready for the final payment. So watch out for the new scoreboards in January 2020.
The OSA would like to thank all of the fans that have helped us raise this money by joining as members and also supporting our scratch card, golden goal, and raffle’s we hope the two scoreboards increases your match day experience.

And the year’s end draws closer with Monday seeing the club’s Carol Service occur. It is as always an enjoyable yet reflective journey with carols, readings, and activity of the nativity story. A children’s choir from St John’s primary school in Colwick with musical accompaniment by the Salvation Army, aided by festive refreshments. Prayers were led by the club reverend Liam Boyle, with the imitable Colin Slater interviewing Neal Ardley with a number of the first team present also.
