Welcome Mr Hardy!

NCFCOSA welcomes the news that Alan Hardy is the new owner of Notts County Football Club. With the contracts signed and completed and, as of time of print, an announcement apparently due about our new manager before today’s game, we look forward to Mr Hardy leading the club into a new era.
We as fans look forward with hope to success in the seasons to come, especially with the club’s academy producing such promising players of late, who we hope will make their first team debuts soon.

Good Work in the Community.

Notts County players Adam Collin and Luther Wildin visited the voluntary group, Good Companions, that I help with.

We had organised a party for the elderly, disabled and some lonely senior citizens at Clifton. Adam and Luther were gracious enough to be our VIPs and drew the raffle as well as chatting with those in attendance. Some of those are Notts County supporters and the children’s choir who came to sing carols spent some time doing a Q&A with the pair. Everyone had an enjoyable time and we are grateful to both Adam and Luther for making the party more special.

OSA Membership.

NCFCOSA membership is now available at the special price of £5. However this will not include a voucher to spend in the club shop.

Our membership is increasing and at the present time we have been able to provide a minibus and a trauma kit to the Notts County academy. We always arrange trips for our members during the year and we had a great time at the Football Museum in Manchester, stopping off for a delightful meal in Derbyshire on the way home.

There was another trip to the Nottingham Playhouse to support our honorary member John Harvey and his play Darkness Darkness, which was another very enjoyable evening.

On wednesday 22 February we went to support Vicky McClure, who will be appearing in Tough, also at the Nottingham Playhouse. Any member of the OSA who would like to attend future events we organise should call into the Supporters’ Association office for details. Details of other social events will be given on the NCFCOSA web page as organised.
