Saint Raymond our latest honorary member and academy news

Exciting news for the Official Supporters’ Association
Lois, our membership secretary, could not wait to tell the committee of some exciting news that ticket office manager Tim Bradd had given her. With a large smile on her face, she proudly announced that the newest name to be added to the Official Supporters’ Association’s roll of honorary members is none other than Nottingham’s latest singer/songwriter to hit the charts and lifelong Notts County fan, Callum Burrows, perhaps better known by his stage name Saint Raymond!
Callum is currently on tour but he was thrilled to be made an Honorary Member of the OSA and promised that, as soon as his schedule allows, he will be down Meadow Lane to watch the Pies again and receive his honorary member’s badge. Look out for more details over the next few weeks. Saint Raymond will be celebrating a ground-breaking year for Nottingham’s music scene when he headlines at Rock City on Friday 4 December. Visit his website and check out the rest of his tour dates and other news.

Academy Chatter

A group of NCFCOSA committee members attend our Academy games on Sunday morning at Highfields, raising money for extra equipment for our youth squad and our younger scholars. We manage to snatch a small amount of time while fundraising to watch our youngsters play. Their skills and the ability are really impressive thanks to the dedication of their Head of Academy Coaching Mick Halsall, Dan Leivers, Pete Jarvis and the rest of the coaching team.

The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank Mick and his team for the welcome they give on a Sunday.

Why don’t you pay a visit to Highfields on a Sunday morning, around 11.00 am, and follow the development of our stars of tomorrow? Here’s the deal: the youngsters would be grateful for your support and, in return, you would get to watch them play some very entertaining football for free.
